Professor Filip Matejka is an Assistant Professor at CERGE-EI (under US permanent charter) since September 2011, an Assistant Professor at CERGE, Charles University (since September 2011) and a Researcher at the Economics Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (since January 2010). He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in applied mathematics from Princeton University in 2007 and 2010. He graduated from Charles University in Physics in 2004. In his research, he focuses on the study of macroeconomics, information economics (mostly rational inattention) and behavioral economics.
